The Italian cinema arrives in New York with Open Roads

It starts today, until June 8th, at Lincoln Center in New York, the sixteenth edition of Open Roads, the most important North American event dedicated to contemporary Italian cinema. The event is co-produced with the prestigious Film Society of Lincoln Center and Cinecittà Luce Institute, that manages selections in Italy together with the Director Dennis Lim, who organizes the artistic delegation. The Festival also has a film market and organizes meetings with major US distributors of European films, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of New York and the Institute for Foreign Trade. Many Italian cinema stars will attend the event, to represent the most important films of the year, including Laura Morante with his Solo (aka Assolo).
