OSCAR 2016: “Non essere cattivo” will be representing Italy
“Non essere cattivo” (Don’t be evil), the posthumously Claudio Caligari’s film, will be representing Italy at the Oscars 2016, for the best foreign language film selection. The committee was held today in Rome at the Anica Headquarters, which represents the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
The announcement of the nomination is scheduled for January 14, 2016, and the ceremony of the Oscars will be held in Los Angeles Sunday, Feb. 28. The film is dry, light and powerful, and leaves its mark from the first minute, for the perfection of every single elements that the director has been able to put together. The actors are simply extraordinary. The Academy will appreciate it very soon.
