Four Italian directors at 72nd Venice Film Festival

Venezia-72Venice is getting ready to host its 72/a Film Festival which this year will have many directorial debuts in all sections.
For the first time there will be 16 authors competing for the Gold Lion and in particular, the Festival will focus on scouting new talents, including Atom Egoyan, Pablo Trapero, Laurie Anderson, Luca Guadagnino, Charlie Kaufman, Tom Hooper.
There are four Italian authors who will compete for the Golden Lion: Bellocchio, Guadagnino, Gaudino and Messina, who makes a double debut with his film L’Attesa (The waiting) starring Juliette Binocheand, and his debut at the Lido.
